Description
The Great Britain 1 oz Silver Britannia BU (King Charles III) is among the quality production of The Royal Mint. It is the first coin in the world to feature King Charles III, making it a special coin for collectors. It features the wave pattern in the background on both sides, making the surface shit when exposed to light.
The observation has the left-profile portrait of King Charles III, masterfully designed by Martin Jennings. The design adheres to the tradition of featuring the male monarch without a crown and reversing the orientation of the monarch’s portrait.
The reverse has the portrait of the famous Britannia, holding a shield and trident, representing Britain’s power and influence. The details on the design add security layers to the coin to prevent it from being counterfeit. The wave pattern, smooth lines of the shield, a hologram that transform into a trident, and the micro-engraved “Decus Et Tutamen” on the inner rim, all account for its security features
